A "visa" is a permit allowing you into a country. A country abolishing the visa restrictions for a country that makes it hell for the citizens of the first country to get visas isn't not acting in favour of its own citizens. As for the tit-for-tat visa policies - I think it's rather childish and will rather stand above it and allow people in regardless of what that other country does. Belarus and Russia still proudly insist on making it as difficult as possible for foreigners to enter and travel around their countries. BUt agree those brits should be having that oldstyle punishment they like so much in UK for not knowing the essential facts. By the way, "VISA" is a credit card company. Exercise common sense, make your own inquiries and get expert advice. Fancy lazing on the beaches of the stunning Adriatic coast?
