Going Places

A further process for all customers irrespective of the package booked will be to confirm their country of residence.Once these two processes have been completed, customers can now proceed to check-in for their flight. A six month visa cost approximately £30 and can be applied for by post (allow 8 weeks) or in person (allow 48 hours). All UK and Irish Citizens will need to have their own individual passsports as children may no longer travel on their parents passports. Any UK Citizens that still hold the old style blue passports will need to apply for a US visa - but a visa is not necessary if you already have, or have time to change to the standard red Machine Readable Passport. At the end of the check-in process, customers will be handed an address slip which will confirm the address that has been entered into the immigration system. Customers unable to confirm their address can be denied check-in and aircraft boarding. Failure to do so may result in a fine. The conditions of entry for all travel to Bulgaria after 1 January 2006 have changed. For all customers who have booked either a brochure or named sundeal holiday with our company, details will be provided to the immigration systems in the UK automatically by our reservation system. For further information on entry requirements, please check with the Egyptian Consulate General in London on 020 7235 9719.Return to TopCuba:A tourist card costing £15 is required for entry into Cuba which is included in the price of your holiday. Going Places Visas & General Travel Advice If you plan to travel outside the UK youmay require a visa to enter the country you are going to. If visitors between the age of 13 and 18 are travelling alone, or with a group with no-one over 18, then similarly parental authorisation is not required as long as the composition of the party is the same on entry and exit. If you book a flight only to Bulgaria and you are staying in private accommodation eg. If you book accommodation with us or have arranged your own accommodation at a hotel, your hotelier should stamp your immigration card and submit it to the local police station on your behalf. Infants and children¿s details must also be entered. It is very important that customers do not lose this address slip as they will need it again when on board the aircraft to complete their Visa Waiver Form. Non-UK citizens should check with the US Embassy. Note there are restrictions under the Visa Waiver Programme e.g British Subjects and anyone with a criminal record (including arrests) will need to apply for a valid entry visa. Once all information has been collected from the immigration screening and check-in process, it is sent to the US Immigration Authorities. These are handed out on baord the aircraft by the crew. This affidavit needs to be legalised by the FCO and the Dominican Republic Embassy. This is in addition to the full completion of the current Visa Waiver form, on board the aircraft. The regulation is being referred to as the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) and came into operation October 2005. You should contact the Dominican Republic Embassy if you have queries about these requirements.
