You will be angry as hell when Colleges were taken up with foreigners and your children cann't get a place. You will however care if you lived back home in Oz and saw the same thing happening there as was happening here where your government pushed on willy nilly without a care in what the electorate thought. You'd be angry if they taught your children immigrants religions and not the majority of the peoples. You'd be angry if they took away history teachings and taught immigrants countries histories instead. You'd be lived if your culture was washed away and your children were made to feel ashamed of their nationality. You'd be pissed if your govt/councils gave homes to immigrants and not you.
