Bulgaria Drops Visas for Britons and Americans » Property Bulgaria ...


According to the adopted amendments foreigners will be allowed to stay in Bulgaria for 90 days within a period of six months, reckoned from the date of the first entry. In a separate development the government decided that Bulgarians will be allowed a free-visa entry into Israel. The decree will take effect from September 1.The Government also approved a set of proposals to amend the Visa Agreement with Turkey. Turkish citizens can stay 90 days with a single or multiple transit visas. Until now they were allowed to enter the country for 30 days upon invitation.

All visas for EU members have been droped as per the Bulgaria joining the EU in the begining of 2008.

Also customs regulation concerning cash allowences have been changed.

The Bulgarian parlament also voted a bill allowing EU members citizens working in the Bulgarian goverment administration.

One other change is that the Bulgarian Parliament passed a bil allowing EU citizens to work in any Bulgarian goverment administration.
